Who We Are
Gordon E.G. Dean

Founder of Engineering Change

Gordon is an energetic high school graduate of the Groton School in Massachusetts who has a tremendous enthusiasm for math and science. His academic curiosity has always pushed him to explore the mechanics of how things work and to constantly ask questions. From Gordon’s own outstanding academic experiences and his love of science sprang the idea for Engineering Change. Gordon hopes that this program will leave participants with a yearning to pursue answers within the realm of science and a perpetual curiosity to investigate the world around them.

Jackson G. Dean

President of Engineering Change

Jackson is a rising senior at Menlo School in Atherton, California. He has been involved with Engineering Change since its inception and took over the program as President in 2010. Jackson has expanded the program to include more students and peer instructors and he has broadened the curriculum. He hopes his love of math and science will rub off on the students so that they continue with their studies through high school and beyond.

Krista Ferrara Woodward

Academic Advisor - Santa Clara, CA
